Summary

I’m a life-long athlete and loved reading leadership lessons from the greatest coaches on the planet.

Two behaviors feel consistent across these exceptional coaches and leaders:

  1. Establish and maintain high standards of performance
  2. Recruit individuals of high character and integrity

While the implementations for standards will vary across industry, we can generally recognize high character individuals regardless of industry.

The Score Takes Care of  Itself

My Philosophy of  Leadership

by Bill Walsh, 3x Super Bowl Champion Head  Coach

The Score Takes Care of Itself

Recommended: 8 / 10

The honesty and vulnerability that Bill Walsh presents is refreshing. High performers and leaders often shoulder more than their share of burden and stress, but feel reticent to discuss it. Not Bill Walsh. He openly talks about how difficult leading a team to success is and the detrimental effects it can have on your life and health.
